Job Context :_ Quality Control & Maintenance Engineer’s job is mainly to ensure quality control during the implementation phase and to plan, schedule, and ensure the execution of daily, weekly and monthly activities to ensure quality assurance and smooth operations of a solar power plant.

Job Responsibilities: Quality Control & Maintenance Engineer’s job will predominantly revolve around following three key responsibilities: • Quality assurance during project implementation • Preventive and Corrective maintenance with regular monitoring and inspection • Co-ordinate with vendors for equipment’s quality and maintenance.

1. Develop and implement quality assurance systems, policies, processes and documentation for the lifecycle of solar projects.
2. Conduct quality assurance inspections and audits at all project sites to identify quality issues and non-conformities.
3. Identify risks and areas for improvement through root cause analysis and corrective /preventive measures. actions to address quality issues and enhance project performance.
4. Quality checking of site work and inspect project materials/Components & checking/inspection inspect site execution work.
5. Identifies problems and develops corrective action plans.
6. Scheduling and execute preventive and predictive maintenance
7. Ensure that all O&M activities performed at project sites comply with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) requirements and warranties
8. Responsible for ensuring personnel comply with standards, environment, health, safety at the site.

Skills Expected

1. Solar System & Electrical systems design, installation and operation.
2. Knowledge of Remote Monitoring process of Operational solar systems.

Other Requirements & Expectations

1. Must have the ability to travel, work on-call during off-shift hours
2. Should be flexible to perform installation role if needed
3. Should have experience in managing design, installation and commissioning of complex large scale PV generation projects.
4. The position is project based the candidate should be willing to travel and locate on site for the duration of project.

Additional Requirements • Requires 8+ years of progressive business experience in project management of complex projects. • Proven track record of solar project management experience, including CapEx and Opex model over 5 MW. • Familiarity with renewable energy, solar industry standards and regulations. • Advance knowledge of Technical Standards & Specifications for Solar Project/Solar Rooftop System.
