AGM / Manager – Business Development (Rooftop Solar)

Solaric is seeking an experienced sales professional to help drive commercial solar sales. In this role you will be from an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering background. Ideal candidates will be highly self-motivated, sales-enabling initiatives, corporate communication, documentation, and knowledgeable about commercial products and solar.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify new markets and business opportunities.
  • Visit potential customers for new business and close sales.
  • Negotiate the terms of agreements and finalize deals.
  • Develop marketing implementation strategies.
  • Carry out marketing initiatives to support rapid sales growth.
  • Establish strong customer relationships and maintain positive customer experience.
  • Build strong rapport with client management.
  • Manage client relationships throughout all phases of the sales cycle.
  • Communicate effectively with customers at all levels.
  • Identify customer requirements and expectations clearly.
  • Satisfy all customer queries efficiently.
  • Identify prospective new clients.
  • Knowledge of industrial bidding documents.
  • Experience with industrial solar and other projects.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Complete system designs for PV modelling projects for rooftop solar.
  • Perform shading analysis.
  • Prepare mechanical racking plans.
  • Specify BOS location and interconnection details.
  • Prepare labeling requirements.
  • Use CAD software to create electrical single-line diagrams (SLD).
  • Prepare connection diagrams or panel schedules for solar electrical systems.
  • Prepare PV layouts, SLD, BOM preparation, and 3D project modeling.
  • Prepare structure fabrication drawings.
  • Prepare RFQ documents.
  • Perform AC and DC cable sizing.
  • Perform earthing calculation.
  • Conduct string configurations.

Academic Qualifications

  • B.Sc Engineering in EEE/Mechanical.
  • MBA in Marketing from a reputed institution.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the corporate sales sector.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in commercial solar.
  • Knowledge of the solar industry, including basics of system design and construction.
  • Strong product knowledge.
  • Technical aptitude with tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong networking ability and capability to expand customer base.

Age not more than 40 years.
